Gas Touch Cooking That's Electronically Controlled!

Caldera developed The Arrow Series with its electronic touch controlled gas valves in order to bring the advantage of digital
control to the gas market.  The result is an easy to clean cooktop with more exact temperature control, repeatable settings,
an aesthetically pleasing design, and incredibly safe operation.  Consumers also receive the benefit of a higher range of BTU
outputs from a single burner.

The electronic controls provide 21 precise flame settings and eliminate guessing or stooping to determine the flame height.  
The selected setting will provide the same flame time and time again thanks to the CompuValve™ that compensates for the
expansion of gas by opening the valve slightly as the burner heats up.

Serious cooking aficionados can find the most powerful residential burner in America (18,000 BTU’s) in the 36” Arrow Series
cooktop as well as an incredibly low simmer setting at 185 BTU’s.  

Simmer Settings

The Arrow Series provides 8 cycling simmer settings on every burner allowing for a wide range of low temperatures by
cycling on and off to keep the entire pan bathed in heat.  This avoids the scorching effect of the small concentrated flame or
the danger of a flame that is too low and unstable.  The Arrow Series provides multiple settings with precise, repeatable
flame control where it is needed – on the low settings.  The amazing result is that the need for a double boiler has been
eliminated.  This cooktop allows users to melt chocolate or warm a fine sauce without the worry of separating, burning or
scorching.  They can be kept warm for hours!

Design:  Surface Options and Continuous Grates

The Arrow Series is available with a stainless steel or black ceramic glass top in 36” and 30” models.  The grates are
designed to be continuous across all the burners to allow users to easily slide pots across the beautiful matte finished
porcelain enameled grates.  The tines of the grates are fashioned to a point on the top so there is minimal area in contact
with the pan.  This unique diamond shaped tine design allows the pot to cool faster when the gas is turned off.  This is just
another feature that allows for greater control of cooking temperature with Caldera cooktops.  

Touch Controls

Caldera has patented the valve that allows for electronic touch control on these gastops.  The touch controls are sleek and
easy to use.  The up and down arrows for each burner allow users to scan through the 21 power levels to find their desired
setting.  A touch panel also provides a centralized lock/unlock control.  The controls even work through water – allowing
users to use the touch controls through wetness or a greasy film.  

Quiet Ignition

Caldera has created a reliable ignition without the clicking that accompanies other gas burners.  At initial ignition or in the
simmer mode, The Arrow Series emits only a quiet swish as the burners turn on and off.  


Easy to Clean

The design of The Arrow Series means there are no knobs to collect food, grease, or germs.  There are no valve stems to
clean around and no dip trays to dig out.  Food spills are easy to clean up from the ceramic glass or stainless surface.

Safety

Caldera’s electronics allow safety features never before available in a manual gas cooktop.  Each burner has 2 sensors, 3
micro-controllers, and 9 possible error codes to provide safety for the user.  The gastop continually monitors its safety even
when it’s off.  The electronics also protect consumers from accidental flame blowouts, faulty ignition, or compromised gas
supply.
